As I was using the phone this morning, Mom casually mentioned that she might be able to get herself the Philip Stein watch sooner than she thought! She wanted to get it today, in fact! But as we were about to leave for Chronos, Ninay Flora, Tita Liklik and the whole entourage arrived for lunch! We decided to grab a quick bite first as everybody wanted to tag along to SM now. After lunch, Ninay Flora produced 3 lovely pearl necklaces from her purse and proceeded to give them to the girls (that's me, Mom and Manang) as gifts! Wow! 30 grand apiece! That's how much Ninay Flora gina-palangga us kuno! Thank you, 'Nay Flora!
Mom mentioned that she was buying a watch and somehow, I think, 'Nay Flora said she'll just give it to mom as a gift! Manang piped in and said she wants one, too! And for some reason, 'Nay Flora said she'll have to get 1 for everyone, me included, so everyone's on equal footing! WOW!!! YAY!!!
We all rushed to SM and each picked her own Philip Stein watch. We ended up staying for about 3 hours as we have had to deal with credit card issues (haha thanks, Tub! for patiently dealing with them) but we (that's Mom, Manang, Tita Liklik, 'Nay Flora, and me) all went home happy with our new Philip Steins! *wink!*

PS. The following morning (12/28) as we were having breakfast, Ian wondered aloud how everyone seems to be wearing the same watch!! Haha!
