open season

for the Muntinlupa Little League (MLL) 2007-2008 officially commenced today. The program didn't begin until 10AM but we were asked to come early for individual and group shots. Here is Team G, grouped into 3 (red, blue and white). Aren't they just the cutest? I am so glad Nikki opted to be a little more adventurous and join this group. I really feel this would be good for her.



As part of the opening day ceremonies, all teams were introduced as they marched in a parade, the first pitch of the season was thrown, our Team G girls danced, and then it was time to PLAY BALL!

The minors division wasn't scheduled until 4PM so my troop (made up of Nikki, Ian and Yaya) and I decided to go home for lunch and to get refreshed.


At 4PM, the red and blue teams positioned themselves for their 1st game. It was fun to watch our little leaguers :) some of them looked like pros already. Nikki was assigned as an Outfielder, but I hope she will eventually be 'promoted'. At 6PM, the BLUE team was announced the winners. Yay for the ANGELS!!!
