my friend, babette, dropped by again this afternoon and she was able to work on some cards and tags. I, on the other hand, was not able to get anything done at all! i just couldn't get my papers together! ack! good thing i was already able to work on a couple of pages for coordinates collections' Scrapping with the Stars' 1st challenge.
we were 2 derive inspiration from Ali Edwards and
Mahlin Andersson, one of Coordinates Collections' DT members.
Hmmm... this challenge really had me thinking, haha! I waited until the last minute and finally came up with these:
supplies: bazzill cs, scenic route paper, 7G gaffer tape, stamps (fontwerks, everyday beauty, stamped in ink), ink pads (Versafine and Colorbox), staples
supplies: (from Scarlet Lime's January kit) scenic route and Ki memories papers, ki memories sticker, felt butterfly, buttons; (from my stash) hs flower, autumn leaves chipboard journaling spot, AC thickers chipboard alpha stickers, zig and sharpie pens, Versa ink pad
after babette had left, i eventually managed to complete my page *sigh of relief* for the 1st challenge over at scrapdango to use bling anywhere on our page.

among other things, earlier today i decided to go to the wet market for a change, with Nikki in tow! haha!! she kept complaining that the floor was wet and that it was stinky! she was even wondering why some of the fish in the basins were 'alive and kicking' haha!! the mamarazzi in me is feeling bad that i wasn't able to take a photo, but i think it was a wonderful experience for her, albeit a short one! *wink!*
