i've been wanting to get a newer model ever since my unit showed signs of being defective more than a year ago :( at a little more than a year old (the apple care expired on me!) yep, for some freaky, disappointing reason, my monitor just kept getting colored lines here and there, every now and then. it started with just a single blue line on the right side and that's how it stayed for about a month. then as the weeks passed, the lines just started sprouting like mushrooms. the last straw was when about a 2-inch white column started appearing on the left side of my monitor last week. aaargh.
i hinted at a newer model for several days until tubbyboy caved and gave me a number to call to ask about an awesome deal on a new unit. yea baby. oh i knew tubby boy couldn't help but give in to my incessant pleas, hehe. thanks so much for my Christmas - early birthday present, tub! =)
it truly feels like Christmas around here already! *wink!*
